I feel like I’m spamming this video but my man told me I should post this up on my main 🥰😛

Quick vulnerability if you care:
1. I was always intimidated to dance at xcel (I still kinda am), but I’m doing it!
2. I was intimidated to take Mark’s class when he taught at groove (sorry Mark) ‘cause I constantly viewed myself as a beginner/intermediate dance, but I’m doing it!
3. I was intimidated to dance with tighter shirts that showed my arms, but I’m doing it!!!
4. With all the personal stuff that has happened in my life, I really thought dancing was over for me… I never wanted to make a career out of it or anything, I was just genuinely happy to be in these dance spaces learning choreo and training. But you know shit happens in life that you can’t control and all of a sudden I never had time for me or dance, and that really sucked. BUT! As I adjusted to my situation and found small pockets of time and energy for myself, I was able to come back to these spaces. Albeit, I was very nervous to come back because I felt like I would be sooo rusty and would be judged, but I think that was the fear trying to hold me back because I’m doing it!!!!

I guess the moral of this tale is that Nike™️ was right and that you really just gotta do it

Thank you to the king @markiemarcsmith for making amazing choreo and creating a safe space!!
