So you’ve been watching other people make content and you like the idea of it but haven’t started yet? Then welcome! Hi I’m Bec! A year ago I started making content because divorce is expensive and I wanted to make extra money. Well news flash, I didn’t make anything BUT I gained something unexpected… confidence! I remember not being able to look in the mirror the last couple of months I lived with my now ex husband. I was torn down, depressed and at an all time low. He hated social media and so honestly I got TikTok as a little bit of revenge. I wanted to do some kind of side hustle that would make me money in 2-3 months… but that didn’t happen. However, I fell in love with the creative side and realized how much potential and opportunity having a personal brand can provide. I’m a firm believer that I’ll make a full time living off of content one day but it takes time. Now here’s where the confident content girl comes in. I’ve gained 22k+ followers across Instagram and TikTok in 1 year. It’s not millions but it’s been slow and consistent growth. The beef I’ve had with online “content tip creators” is that they are promising so much success if you do xyz. But the truth is it takes TIMEEEE. Also, I’ve found that trying to learn from someone who’s 1000 steps ahead is so overwhelming, especially when I first started. So that’s why I’m starting this page. If you haven’t started then this is the place for YOU! I’m just a few baby steps ahead on you. I want to give you digestible and practical steps to move forward. Because blowing up and gaining thousands of followers overnight is the exception.. growing slow and steady is the rule. I’m the rule but that doesn’t mean I’ll never arrive or it isn’t for me too. Posting this to remind you that your 2026 can look completely different than your 2025- you have the power to change the things you hate about your life right now. I started 2025 completely stressed out, overwhelmed, traumatized, and exhausted. I knew I had to make changes in 2025 or I was going to crash and burn. Some of the most difficult but most worthwhile decisions I made in 2025 were finding a psychiatrist, being intentional with creating new friendships, and leaving my house more.
