Part 6 of 12 - STARCHILE - Portland Icon - Documentary 📽️

I was blessed to contribute a short documentary that was played at the Star Awards as part of @pdxhiphopweek at the @reserartscenter!

The full 6 min version is on YouTube (link in bio) but I'll be posting short clips for the next 12 days. Obviously, I recommend the long version as I put a lot of intention into the build of energy and storyline, but I know how attention span goes, so I hope you enjoy the clips too. 🪩

A special thanks to @djogone @djklyph @itzmighty for their insight into STARCHILE's life and impact on Portland Hip Hop Week.

Major S/O to @the.branch.pdx for sharing their state of the art production studio to film these interviews in. (Go follow them)

To create experiences, not events—that is a core function of Hussle n Grace 🌹

We’re not here to simply gather women in a beautiful space and call it wellness. We’re here to create safe spaces over curated aesthetics.
Connection over performance.
Intention over perfection 💗

Every detail is considered—the movement, the music, the nourishment, the conversations, the people in the room, and most importantly, how you feel when you leave.

Because when you create something with love, it will always be felt.

A Hussle n Grace experience is an invitation to slow down. To pour back into yourself. To meet yourself where you are. To laugh, connect, move, rest, learn, and remember that wellness doesn’t have to look like a Pinterest board to be meaningful.

We curate experiences that feel like community.
Like a deep exhale.
Like coming home to yourself.

This is Hussle n Grace 🌿
Wellness, but make it an experience

Sometimes getting laid off isn’t the end of the story… it’s the plot twist that starts a whole new one. 👀✨

We asked the founders of KYND KREATIVE how their career paths led them to entrepreneurship—and this is Kirsten’s story. 🤍

Kirsten’s journey started with an incredible opportunity at Tesla, where she spent five years working in production, growing within the company, and earning multiple internal promotions along the way.

Then came an unexpected turn: she was laid off.

But what could’ve felt like a door closing became the beginning of something completely new.

That transition gave Kirsten the opportunity to discover her love for entrepreneurship and eventually build her own business, R&N Canine Company, inspired by her two corgis, Rex & Noodle—who, let’s be real, are basically the other CEOs. 😂🐾

Through that journey, she discovered just how much she loved creating, building experiences, connecting with people, and bringing ideas to life.

And now? She’s bringing all of that experience into her newest chapter as Co-Founder of KYND KREATIVE, where she leads much of our event coordination, event experiences, and rentals. ✨

Proof that sometimes the career path you planned isn’t the one that leads you to your purpose.

And Kirsten’s story is still being written. 🤍

Have you ever had an unexpected career change that ended up leading you somewhere better? Tell us below! 👇

And make sure you’re following @KYND_KREATIVE as we continue sharing more about our founders, our story, and everything we’re building together.

So many beautiful places to perform! Ghost Hill Cellars has a gorgeous patio! I played for a wedding cocktail party and played a mix of R&B, rap and pop music. Next up was a most special wedding ceremony at The Empress Estate in Washington. It was beautiful! I also had so much fun playing for a yoga class in Portland for The Branch Creative where I played background music during their relaxing and invigorating stretch session. It was fabulous! #harpist #harpistlife #harp #oregonmusicians #harpweddings
