👋 Hej folks,

It’s been a while since we introduced ourselves!

We’re Saba 🇨🇦 & Kristin 🇸🇪 , co-founders of The Culinary Farm here in the heart of Skåne — a small agro-ecological farm, thoughtfully designed by permaculture and regenerative agriculture principals.

A bit about us 💕 :
We met in the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and as crazy as it sounds, in less than a year bought this land to pursue our dream of living in nature and doing what we love— growing food, cooking, and building community. 🌱

We started this farm to share the joy of good food, grown with care with those who truly care!

Today, we grow around 25 different types of vegetables for a handful of Skåne’s best restaurants and for a community of food lovers who care about where their food comes from and how it’s grown. 🥕

Our farm acts as the Nordic hub for Market Gardening and our educational program attracts around 100 applicants per year who want to come and learn how to run a profitable small farm like ours 👩🏻‍🌾

Hello winter! ❄️ 🩵

What a season we had this year, wow! Thank goodness we decided not be in production this year and only focused on building the farm and getting it ready for the next season 😅 otherwise no way we would have made so much progress!
.
As the winter settles in we’re finding our way back inside the house, chilling by the fire and reflecting on everything we’ve done so far and letting our bodies rest a bit 🪵 🔥 ☕️

I’ve called this little piece of heaven HOME for the last 2.5 years 💕 something that I couldn’t even imagine I’d say when I left Canada, my family and friends to come to Sweden for work.

My love and appreciation for this place has grown a lot over this past year specially since I decided to leave my work, stay home and co-create this new farm with my beautiful partner, @kristinmontaguevans .

We, are excited to share the harvest with all food lovers in our network next season.
