VINCENZO’S OF LEVITTOWN Another first festival appearance, Garrett and his team at @vincenzopizzeriaoflevittown have been a staple of Levittown since 2018. The defition of a dedicated, hands on operator, it was comical how many times we had to restart the shoot so Garett could stop to chat with guests, make a few specialty pies, and deal with all of the day to day tasks of running a pizza shop. I spoke to a few of his guests who all had the same feedback: this is a shop that gives so much to the community throughout the year, that’s it’s clear why they’re so beloved in their hood. A few weeks ago, Gary and I were invited to stay at this brand new boutique hotel in Westhampton Beach, @sevenbeachlane. If you’re thinking that the Hamptons are best to visit in the summer, you are so wrong! We visited on the weekend and planned to have a quiet, relaxing little getaway together and this was actually a great place for it. We had one of the best meals we’ve had on Long Island here - lobster and short rib tagliatelle and really good cocktails - and enjoyed the night together having a few drinks, chatting and escaping from the busyness of the workweek. We woke up, had a delicious breakfast, and felt really relaxed and refreshed. There is a pool here so I’m dying to return during the summer, but Seven Beach Lane already operates as if they’re a hotel that’s been around for ages. The service was amazing and this is a wonderful spot to plan a stay if you’re looking to spend some time on Long Island in a beautiful town full of small businesses, great food and drink, farmers markets, and yes, beaches… even if it’s not summer time! #sevenbeachlane #westhamptonbeach #thehamptons #boutiquehotel #longisland #longislandny #travelgram #travelideas #couplesgetaway #nyc #nycgetaway #weekendgetaway #weekendgetaways
