🛍 Ons voornemen is om een bijdragen te leveren aan een betere wereld door te bouwen aan de hipste circulaire hotspot van Nederland. De Retourboulevard Amersfoort wordt de plek waar stijlvol shoppen en verantwoording nemen voor de wereld om ons heen samenkomen.

🍾Het aftellen naar de opening is begonnen, dus volg onze social media en bouw online mee aan een hippe, stijlvolle schonere wereld voor de toekomst.

Here’s a little reminder to think before you buy, especially on a day like today 💚

Discounts can be a good reason to finally buy something you’ve already wanted for a while and/or otherwise couldn’t afford or something that you really need, but don’t let a discount persuade you to buy something just because it’s ‘cheap(er)’ while you might not really need it and/or want it. Too many items/garments end up in landfills as waste as it is and we need to do our part to help avoid this as much as we can for the sake of the planet (and our future generations) 🌍✨

～ Bring your own water bottle
～ Use a reusable shopping bag
～ Use a shampoo/conditioner bar (I’d personally recommend @shampoobars.nl 💚)
～ Bring your own cutlery
～ Use a bamboo toothbrush (I use @thebamboovement 💚)
～ Bring your own lunch box
～ Skip plastic produce bags
～ Use a biodegradable phone case (mine is from @pelacase 💚)

Hi everyone 💚

Ever since becoming aware of how much (plastic) waste we produce, I’ve been trying to reduce my waste as much as possible. I try to use plastic free/sustainable alternatives as much as I can, avoid buying things I don’t need and shop second hand. I’m definitely not living completely waste free and I still use more plastic than I would like to, but I’m doing the best that I can as a student with small budget. Don’t worry about doing everything perfectly, but focus on the changes that you can make, like not having bought that plastic bottle, because you have brought your own reusable water bottle. Or bringing your own lunch so you don’t have to buy a sandwich/salad packaged in plastic. Choosing a plant-based meal. Using your own thermos to get that coffee to go instead of using a disposable cup. Saying no to that plastic bag, because you have brought your own (canvas) bag. The more people are willing to make these small (& easy) changes, the bigger the impact it’ll have 🌿

Bring your own bag to the grocery store, use a reusable coffee cup, buy secondhand, bring your own water bottle, reuse something instead of buying something new, choose a plastic-free alternative. If we all make small changes like this, we can make a big difference together 🤍
