Trollwood… I think my (far too late) post goes to show just how big of an impact that this show had on me. Months later, I still think about this once in a lifetime experience. I learned SO much, found respect for myself through the support of others, and made lifelong friendships because of it.

Thank you Trollwood, you’ll forever stay with me.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this production possible!

My work here is done!

I was a big fan of this summer!

I somehow didn't take any pictures outside of these that I scrounged up.

Oh Frozen, how I’ll miss you so. This show really pushed me to my limits at times, but I couldn’t be more grateful for “the chance to leave my lonely world” one final time. Getting to be a different person on that stage and forget about my problems for a few hours is simply “hygge”! This cast really became a family this year, it really goes to show if you “throw a little love their way” the connections become worth melting for. Special thanks to the student leadership program for giving me a chance to contribute artistically what went on the MainStage. I’m genuinely still pinching myself… Trollwood gave me the world, I only hope one day I can give some love back. “Let the sun shine on” ☀️

✨ SUMMER CASTING RESULTS ✨

Studio R Griffeath artists are making an extraordinary impact across the Fargo-Moorhead theatre community this summer, appearing in productions at the @trollwood1978, @actupfm, @stagewestwf, and @wf_summerartsintensive

What makes these results especially exciting is the consistency these artists have demonstrated throughout the last year. Across lessons, coachings, performances, competitions, and auditions, they have continued to grow as singers and performers — developing healthy vocal technique, confident storytelling, strong musicianship, and the kind of poised, polished performances that leave a lasting impression in the audition room.

These artists who are not only singing well, but performing with confidence, preparation, authenticity, and stage presence. From leading roles to featured ensemble work, Studio R Griffeath artists continue to distinguish themselves through thoughtful artistry and a commitment to excellence.

I am incredibly proud to see so many of these singers contributing to the vibrant performing arts scene across Fargo-Moorhead this summer. Watching these artists support one another while consistently raising the level of their work has been one of the most rewarding parts of this season.

Congratulations to all of these outstanding performers on an exciting summer ahead. The work is showing — and this is only the beginning.

Bravi tutti! 🎭✨

Happy New Year!
This Year's quotes as usual:
" I don't dream, I don't wonder. I invite the worst possible thing into my head to figure out how to hurt them before they hurt anybody else!" - Reed Richards "The Fantastic Four First Steps"

"We don't rule the Earth. We just think we do. And sure, we're changing the environment, but that makes us the ones to worry about, not the planet. When the Earth gets tired of us, believe me, it will shake us off like a summer cold." - Dr. Henry Loomis "Jurassic World Rebirth"

"This barricade is made neither of paving stones, nor of timbers, nor of iron; it is made of two mounds, a mound of ideas and a mound of sorrows. Here misery encounters the ideal. Here the day embraces the night, and says: I will die with you and you will be born again with me." -Enjolras "Les Miserable" (YES THE NOVEL!)

"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." - Christian" Moulin Rouge

"Adventure is out there!" - Ellie Fredrickson "Up" (not Charles Muntz)
