Winter in Niederau, Austria isn’t a vacation, it’s a full family plot twist. 🏔️✨

Picture this: your kids build their first snowman while you sip glühwein two feet away (yes, actual line of sight, no walkie-talkies required). The ski school here doesn’t just teach turns, it hands your little ones confidence and hands you back a few hours to actually enjoy the mountain yourself. Wide, gentle slopes for the beginners, real terrain for the ones who “already know how to ski, Mom.” Everyone wins.

Then the sun goes down and the Tirolean magic kicks in sleigh rides jingling past your window, fondue nights, and a village so cozy it basically hugs you on arrival. No traffic jams, no airport-level chaos just alpine air, rosy cheeks, and a whole lot of “can we come back next year?”

Niederau doesn’t perform winter for you. It just IS winter — the good kind, the kind from the postcards, minus the stress of getting there.

Tag your travel crew. Winter break starts here. ❄️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

You might not know it yet, but Austria is one of the best destinations for a family holiday. 🧑🏻👦🏼🧒🏼👩🏼

Many lakes are swim friendly with lots of children activities and they can try out amazing activities such as climbing, tobogan, cycling and many other things to do.

Check out the link in bio to book your last minute holiday to the mountains @romexstays ⛰️

The perfect destinations for children are Niederau and Gerlos 🙌🏼
