Vier Jahre dauerte die Planung ihres Traumhauses: Für die Architektur waren Architekten verantwortlich, bei der Innenraumplanung hat Ronja (@housenumbereight_ ) selbst als Interior Designerin sehr eng mit den Architekten gearbeitet.

Das Ergebnis ist ein Zuhause mit einer ganz besonderen Beziehung zu seiner Architektur.

In November, @paulineemarie , @housenumbereight_ & Hannah met at an event in Berlin. By the end of April, they had their first call. It was when the Idea of Purna Studio was growing. Turns out, they’d all been dreaming the same dream, just from different angles: Pauli & Ronja envisioned designing a yoga studio. Hannah & Julia pictured a space that invites people to fully arrive, be, and stay. Cozy yet clean. Light and soft.

After that first conversation, it was clear: The Studio Eight Team and Purna Studio share the same vision.. And now, we’re co-parents of this beautiful space.

Come and see it … no, come and FEEL it yourself! 🤍 A place for Yoga, movement, stillness and community!

Some notes and thoughts from this week’s 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen. ✨🌞 It’s easily my favorite event of the year for inspiration, insights, and networking.

This time around, it was our first trip with the (almost) full Studio Eight team, which made the 20k+ steps a day & countless conversations so much more fun!

For our second round of „Four Studios. Four Styles. Four Tips.“, we brought together a mix of interior designers and architects to explore what truly gives a space its identity.

From framing landscapes through architecture, to rethinking everyday functions, to integrating pieces with history – character reveals itself in very different ways.

Graduate Spotlight: Ronja Rupalla ✨

We are so proud to spotlight one of our incredibly talented graduates, Ronja Rupalla, whose creativity, vision, and intuitive design sensibility have blossomed into a thriving design studio and an inspiring online community.

Ronja is the co-founder and creative force behind @the.studioeight – a collaborative interior design practice born from a shared love of thoughtful spaces, beautiful materials, and meaningful design.

Studio Eight brings together the architectural expertise of Hormuth Architektur and Ronja’s signature aesthetic, originally known from her platform @housenumbereight_, where she has grown a community of over 190k design lovers.

What began as a single shared project – creating House Number Eight – soon revealed an incredible creative alignment. From there, Studio Eight was born, bringing together clean architectural thinking with warm, minimal interiors full of soul.

Ronja’s design language blends Scandinavian calm with emotional warmth – always minimal, never cold; always refined, never superficial. Her eye for materials, tone, and feeling brings a quiet magic into every space she touches.

We love seeing our graduates shape the design world in their own unique ways, and Ronja is such a beautiful example of passion evolved into purpose.
