Really excited to play this fundraiser night for my home country Lebanon on Sat 16th May 7pm, at @piehouse.coop, featuring some of my favourite live acts around, including the Umlauts, Widget, and the wonderful Zahra.

All donations are going to the Lebanese red cross and Beit el baraka. Urgent aid is still needed and it will take a long time to rebuild the country. Please please share and spread the word!

“Where Else has been a very important venue for my musical career. Sammy has hosted my band The Umlauts to play several times and has also offered me space to experiment with djing, letting me play my first sets in the venue and allowing me access to the building to practice.

Without this vital help I don’t think I would have had the same access to the scene. My career as a DJ has since developed and I now run a monthly show on NTS radio and have also been invited to Dj at many other venues since.

I always look back fondly on the support I was given. The DIY scene relies heavily on the generosity and work of people like Sammy and Where Else.”
