Had a good 4th of July weekend out in the woods with my fam. No fireworks, just nature, epic views, fun at camp and uninterrupted time together.

I didn't want to drill holes in the dash of my LandCruiser so I ordered a nifty little magnetic mic mount from @solvefunction that attaches to a non-flat "blank button panel" on the dash. Unfortunately my @midlandusa mic is robust and heavy so I simply stuck their MAV60 Magnetic Mic Mount to the Solvefunction mount. Easy and done. Regular mics shouldn't need both products but I don't mind supporting both companies. 😁

If you have a LandCruiser and need 3d printed solutions or other weird stuff, check out @solvefunction .

Continuing with our trip report. Day 4 woke up to blue skies, did a little 6 mile hike to a slot canyon, refilled water and gas in town, then back on the trail to the next camp 🙌⛺️🥾

Close the gate behind you.

Or don’t.

And start your new career as a part-time cattle chaser / full-time apology writer.

Rule 1 of exploring rural areas: Close the damn gate.

Rule 2: See Rule 1.

Floppy Mirror Fix! Common problem on the LandCruiser 80 Series. Thankfully we have folks like @deltavehiclesystems and @solvefunction who always have solutions for these old vehicles! I'll do a more thorough "How to" soon. 😀

Support the people who support our offroad community! 😁

Update on the DIY sleeping platform and storage in my 80 Series LandCruiser. It's cheap, fairly light compared to a drawer system and easily removable. Hopefully you can use ideas from this on your own vehicle no matter the model. :)

It never fails. When we go wheeling with Ben at Dissent, we always get into some 💩 and end up coming home late. Yet, we continue to follow him because that's how epic memories are made. 😁

9 times out of 10 we learn something new as well!

Had a good time rescueing our selves out of a steep trail last night.
