@the.wine.spa | Had my first VINO SOAK the other day, and I am BLOWN away. 😮 Ultra relaxing, calmed my nervous system, and I felt leaving like my skin was SO soft and hydrated. I had no idea about the benefits of Vinotherapy 🍇 until recently, more specifically red wine soaks, because they have higher antioxidants. 😉

Did you know that your hooha has the same ph level as wine? 🍷 So no need to fear! This was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend for a self-care day this Fall or Winter.

I also had a wonderful 50 minute massage after, utterly and entirely felt melty afterward in the best way possible. ☁️ Would you try a vino soak? 🛁 Lmk in the comments down below!

Congratulations to the formidable @gokellylewis on the grand opening of @the.wine.spa in wine country at the @dundeehotel Hotel.

The Willamette Valley is so lucky for many reasons (amazing weather, abundant wineries, spectacular beauty, and Mt Hood views) and the new Wine Spa is just another sprinkle on top.

I’m so proud to be Kelly’s friend, and to get a peek into her visionary brain some days. Even though vinotherapy has been a thing for ages in places like the Republic of Georgia and Armenia, when Kelly dreamed up the Wine Spa, it was the only one in the whole U.S. That original Portland location was even named one of TIME’s 100 Greatest Places in the World, and now Dundee gets its very own.

If you’ve never soaked in wine, you’re missing out. Not only are there actual health benefits, it is also just so much fun. And I love that they use upcycled wine from Willamette Valley vineyards that would otherwise be un-sellable and wind up as waste.

If you love this, but you don’t live in Portland, this is your invitation to come visit me — I’ll make sure to get you scheduled for your life-changing soak.

A friend’s spa opening in Dundee, in tow with a bestie all day long, yoga with many on the lawn at Chehalem Winery, and lots of new friends.

The theme was hard to escape so I went with it. We practiced fire. Agni, the fire of digestion, which handles food and also handles the digestion of our experiences, everything we take in and have to make something of. Tapas, the heat of leverage and discipline. Tejas, the inner polishing that turns into an inner glow.

Smoke in the air, fires burning all around, and we’re on a lawn in Newberg tending to and stoking our own. All with the power to transform and clear and bring new life.

We lost a lot of our registered folks cuz of the fires and air quality. Those who came were glad they did. Still, we absolutely get it. Summer months are becoming fire season. 😮‍💨😔 No bueno.

Fortunately the air feels much clearer out here today! Troutdale has blue skies again.

Come tomorrow if you feel called. Glenn Otto, 9:30, yoga in the trees, sliding scale, pay what you can. Dip in the river after or grab a snack at Sugarpine. Get outside. Soak up the summer. If air quality gets bad again we will cancel. Or if there are too few sign ups! Stay-tuned.
