September 30th is National Podcast Day, but it is also ironically the day I officially became a podcaster, unknowingly it was also said day, so I took that as sign that I should be doing this after all. This is now year 5, and all the of the opportunities, pivots, good times and life changing moments happened. I’m am now also an actor, an event host and a writer in the making. But it all started with my first foray, this podcast, 1st Class 2nd Place. Along the way, I’ve met some of the best people in the world who have also wanted to share their stories with me, and collaborate in many art forms, even got to meet and befriend people who have made an impact in the world on a grand scale, I am very fortunate to be a part of the @the2amcrew and I’m proud to be a part of this community. Of course there were ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade this trajectory for anything. To all my fellow podcasters, Happy International Podcast Day, and Happy Birthday to @1stclass2ndplace. Thank you all for being a part of this amazing journey, and let’s continue to make magic.

Happy Birthday, Craze. 🕊️

For more than 30 years, you were more than my best friend—you were my brother. Losing you this June left a space in my life that words could never fully explain.

Today, I celebrate your life, your spirit, the memories we created, and the friendship that helped shape the person I am. I miss you every day, but I’ll carry you with me forever.

Love you always, my brother. Happy Birthday. ❤️🙏🏽

Maybe I’m getting old, but… WHEN DID I BECOME AFRAID OF EVERY ANIMAL?! 😂🏕️🦌

I went camping thinking: family time, fresh air, peace and quiet…

Then the sun went down.

EVERY. SOUND. BECAME. A. THREAT. 😭

Something moves in the bushes?

🐻 Bear.
🐺 Coyote.
🦝 Raccoon.

Nope. Just a squirrel.

BUT IT WAS A BIG-ASS SQUIRREL. 😂

Then everybody gets excited because a deer walks by…

“Awww, look at the deer! 🥹”

WHY ARE WE SAYING AWWW?!

That is a WILD ANIMAL standing 10 feet away from us!

And don’t tell me:

“Rick, the deer is more afraid of you than you are of him.”

NO HE IS NOT.

That deer looked VERY comfortable.

Because here’s what I realized…

WE’RE IN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD! 😂🦌

Maybe I’m getting old, but from now on I think I’ll enjoy nature during BUSINESS HOURS.

NO. LET ME GO! 😂

Tomorrow, I’m dropping a new video of this series:

🎙️ “MAYBE I’M GETTING OLD, BUT…”

The random thoughts. The things that don’t make sense anymore. The stuff we ALL notice but nobody talks about. 😂

Some will be funny. Some nostalgic. Some might start a debate.

But every video comes down to one question…

AM I THE ONLY ONE?! 👀

Second video drops TOMORROW.

Follow @ItsRickH and get ready…because I already know some of y’all are gonna tell me:

“Nah Rick…you’re just OLD.” 😂
