Honoured to have my Palestinian poem, The Land of Olive Trees, published in (Un)Told: Immigrant Voices of Resilience, a collection of stories, poetry, and art exploring immigration, identity, and belonging. I also had the pleasure of designing the book cover and attending the launch at New Stadium on June 11th.

🌕 Mid-Autumn Programming Schedule 🌕

Our second Mid-Autumn Moon Festival celebration is quickly approaching and we are beyond excited! Here’s a glimpse at the programming schedule for the night, which includes a variety of activities including lantern-making, ping pong, mahjong, and more.

Please note that the calligraphy workshops have limited availability, so if you are interested, make sure to sign up early (sign up sheets will be available at the outdoor portion of the event)!

A few quick tips from the organizers: (1) we encourage folks to dress warm as some of the programming will be taking place outdoors; (2) as well, we recommend planning your transportation ahead of time in view of the fact that parking in the area can fill up quickly!

We can’t wait to celebrate with the community this Saturday!

I'm excited to share that I'll have a creative writing piece in 'Your Hands Cover Me Like Cool Prayers', an exhibition on grandmothers: maternal kinship, personal histories, intergenerational relationships, cultural traditions, and the many ways knowledge is carried across generations.

It feels especially meaningful to be part of a show on this theme, something I have been exploring in recent months. My contribution comes from a deeply personal place, thinking about the stories we inherit long before we know how to tell them.

Huge thank you to curator @kettyzzz (Ketty Haolin Zhang) for bringing this beautiful exhibition together.

I recently had the privilege of photographing artist Brody Burns at @the525art ahead of his upcoming solo exhibition, GIANTS, opening at @wanuskewin in early 2027.

@b_c_burns is a Cree artist from Treaty 6 Territory in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His work brings Indigenous ways of knowing into conversation with psychology and other fields of study. Grounded in spirituality, energy, and vibration, his abstract forms and vibrant colour explore the space where Spirit and science meet.

It is a pleasure to discuss my pretty/nasty paintings knowing my eyebrows are drawn on, my falsies are glued tight, and my nails are half hazardly painted before any event 🙂‍↕️
