Entry 005: The Education

Before Augusta had a name, it had an education.

Years spent collecting, curating and preserving the pieces that shaped me would go on to shape Augusta.

Rooted In Legacy is Augusta’s journal, a numbered archive of where we come from. Entry 005 is now on AugustaAvenue.com. Link in bio.

ALS. The man behind the boards. Responsible for “ALKMY” and “SOLRAP!” With Raz Fresco + “ePIFFany” with The 6th Letter” as well as stack of cake tapes. He first connected with Raz during the making of Issue #2 quickly becoming one of his favourite go-to producers besides himself.

When describing their first collaboration “ALKMY” Fresco stated that ALS’ sound reminded him of the soulful timeless MADLIB loops he grew up loving.
