32 was by far my toughest year. Loss, loneliness, and lows I hadn't experienced before. But reaching rock bottom 🕳️ means there's only one direction left to go. ⬆️

Pride has been my biggest vice. During the storms of my last year, God presented me with many situations that got worse when I tried to navigate them myself. 🚶🏽‍♂️

It was revealed to me that I was actually being more selfish by not trusting the friends and family God placed around me. I was being disobedient.

Last year I was on television📺, emceed for @espn & @sprite, became an author📖, & as of Friday, received a job offer doing what I love to do 🙌🏽

This year, I'm giving out scholarships for students through the Jotivated Dreamers Fund, and I'm doing something that was always uncomfortable for me, asking for help.

For my 33rd Birthday, I'm aiming to raise $3300. As of today, we're 50% of the way there with $1669.33.

There's still time to give toward the dreams of our next generation! Every contribution and share makes a difference.🫶🏽

All I want for my birthday is to pay it forward.❤️

I did a thing. I said YES to something amazing.

Today, it's official. I said YES to being the Director of Office to the Chief People Officer on a 2-year assignment in London 🇬🇧

In May I got promoted after being with my company for 9 months. 3 days before my promotion went into effect, my new boss called me and said, "Our CPO met you 2 weeks ago and was so impressed by you that she's asked if you'd be interested in her new role. She knows you just got promoted. But she's been searching and hasn't found what she's been looking for until meeting you."

I went through the process and signed on the dotted line. Getting promoted twice in one month was crazy. Nervous about the challenge, my boss reminded me:

"At your age and at this stage in your career, the CPO coming from England and asking you to work for her is rare. If you've ever questioned your abilities and whether or not you're in the right place doing the right thing, running your race, let this be your confirmation."

shoutout to @meemzunveiled & @keeek101 for helping me see the process through while on vacation. big ups to my family for encouraging me to take this step. special thank you to those bringing up my name in rooms I'm not in. forever grateful to God for continuing to drown me with blessings.
