"Sweet so till" is the third album for Virgin Records by the Gladiators. Led by Albert Griffiths, this 1979 release is a masterclass in roots reggae. It's probably their second best for Virgin after their 1976 debut "Trenchtown Mix Up".

This album showcases an all-star lineup of Kingston's musicians and you'll find tight instrumentation and harmonies. The Gladiators were known for their socially conscious lyrics, and this album is no exception. Themes of unity, love, and resilience shine through every song.

Tune I picked here is called "a day we go".
