POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There was something in the air on day two of the SHINE Festival, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.🥹

Before I took to the stage, I got to sit back and soak in some incredible women:

✨ @tamdarcy , founder of The Shona Project, who, with her amazing team (Laura, Ellen, Lisa, Cassie, Ella, Olivia, Helen, destiny , the volunteers and ambassadors) Donal @thisismark.ie programme director , brought together almost 2,500 girls over two days. Nothing short of remarkable.

✨ @w_grainne, who gave such a real and inspiring talk about her journey as an Olympic boxer.

✨ @ailbhedub , who spoke so powerfully about women’s rights.

✨ @sharingwithyemi, the true queen of Shine.

✨ @the_amanda_ade , who gave such practical and empowering advice on how we can all show up as allies.

✨ @destinyayovaughan , who shared her story of resilience and determination on the road to becoming Miss Carlow.

✨ @fabulouspharmacist , who spoke about girls and women’s health with her fabulous humour, wit and compassion.

✨ And my new best friend, @thenavigationcoach , who spoke about coming home to yourself by understanding the power and magic of the brain.

To the incredible team at Shine, to Mark, and to the girls who laughed, hugged, sang, screamed and gave the day absolutely everything: thank you.

I’ll remember Shine 2026 for as long as I live. 💛

I’m still buzzing & reliving the phenomenal showcase of Black-Irish (Éireannaigh Dhubha) talent a mo bhaile, Baile Átha Cliath, Éire💚
The showcase was hosted by my baby sis @eyumpriscilla THE Black Leprechaun and it included a variety of artists such as singers (amhránaí), rappers (rapálaí), poets (filí) agus dancers (damhsóirí)👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🌍☘️

Feel free to comment a word as Gaeilge (in Irish) or comment an English word or phrase you want me to translate!
