Next up on our audition tour is a corps that is beginning their transition from Open class to World class, The Battalion, whose audition season starts in just over two months, on December 5th! This season, they'll be hosting multiple satellite camps across Kentucky, with more dates coming soon, plus their full weekend audition camps in Ogden, UT, and video auditions available for each section for anyone who can't attend an in-person audition. Their audition materials are available right now on their website, and there's no better time to start preparing than today! For more information about their or any other corps' audition materials, check out the 2027 Audition Information spreadsheet in our bio

Welcome to World Class. The Battalion and Gold move up from Open Class for the 2027 DCI season. The Battalion became the first Utah corps ever at the DCI World Championships and earned its first Open Class medal, bronze in 2025 and silver in 2026. Gold arrives with three Open Class silver medals in four seasons. Two programs that built their way to the top division, one season at a time. Congratulations to both corps.

When I caught The Battalion at one of their early season rehearsals in June they looked solid. I knew they were going to be a force to be reckoned with in Open Class. I was so happy to be able to catch both their runs at Championships in Indy. Congrats on a great season!!! @the_battalion
