POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Twelve years ago, we took a leap of faith with little more than a shared dream and a love for storytelling and filmmaking.

We believed in our abilities to make films, but we knew a lot less about building a business.

Over the years, we’ve experienced incredible highs and lows, moments of doubt, unexpected turns, and more lessons than we could ever count. Through it all, we’ve had the privilege of telling stories that have taken us around the world, from the Congo and across Africa to South America, Iceland, and so many places in between.

But the greatest part of this journey has never been the destinations. It’s been the people we’ve met, the friendships we’ve built, and the opportunity to tell stories that matter.

As we celebrate 12 years of Emerging Light Media, we’re incredibly grateful to every client, collaborator, friend, and family member who has believed in us along the way.

We’re proud of where we’ve been.

But we are more excited about where we’re headed.

It honestly feels like we’re just getting started.

Here’s to the next chapter. ❤️

Lately we’ve been trading instant feedback for patience.

Every roll of film forces you to slow down. To trust your instincts. To commit to every frame.

There’s no playback. No endless takes.

Just light, timing, and intention.

This isn’t about nostalgia.

It’s about becoming a better storytellers.

Excited to share this journey and return where it all started. The love of film. #shootfılm #kodakfilm #storytelling #arri #kodak_shootfilm
