One of our favourite things to do on our days off is explore little hidden places for a lovely meal. The Brew Barn Stonehouse is exactly the kind of place we love peaceful, tucked away from the busy roads and city, with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The lovely, friendly staff made us feel so welcome, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The homemade lentil soup tasted just like comfort in a bowl, the burger was cooked to perfection, and finishing with a rich hot chocolate topped with cream and marshmallows made it even better. Sometimes it’s the simple, cosy places that leave the biggest impression. We’ll definitely be back!

Great turnout for a slightly overcast day in Scotland. Perfect cycling conditions and a cafe stop at @the_brew_barn very nice soup and coffee and superb location - middle of nowhere😂

Situated just outside Stonehouse (Udston Road), Brew Barn is in such a lovely peaceful location surrounded by fields 🌿☀️ I visited on a gorgeous sunny day and there were plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy the weather too.

I came here with my sister-in-law and niece for a breakfast/brunch catch-up and there was a really nice selection of breakfast and brunch options on the menu.

We opted for the small breakfast and the pancakes with bacon & maple syrup 🥞🥓 all accompanied by a lovely latte ☕️

The place itself is lovely inside and they also had a great selection of cakes and sweet treats, which I didn’t manage to try this time… but definitely an excuse to come back again soon 🤍

It’s not far from me and I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to finally check it out!

Great day on the bikes with Glenmarnock. Up the famous Sydes Brae then a new cafe stop in Stonehouse. @the_brew_barn What a brilliant cafe stop - first time we've been - great soup , rolls and coffee. Will defo be back - worth a visit if youre looking for a new spot for coffee.

Bit of sun and drizzle - can't complain for November. Superb turnout for this time of year 👌👏🚴‍♂️

This last week I've recreated a selection of paintings to compile and display at @the_brew_barn in Stonehouse as part of this weekend's Art Trail. Along with my other paintings already on display there, I'm hoping this frame will encompass all the different styles of commissions I do. What do you think?

The Art Trail is on 10-4pm Saturday and Sunday. Check out their excellent Facebook page for all the details and I'll pop more info in my stories too.

Only trouble is that I won't be at the Brew Barn until 2pm tomorrow to drop this off 🤦🏻‍♀️ it's been a busy week!
