I’m sharing a little outdoor Thanksgiving tablescape I set up a few weeks ago in case you need some last minute inspo! I thrifted those cute turkey napkins, the turkey basket, and the candleholders! Love thrifting!!

I’m so incredibly thankful for a multitude of things, so many that I can’t possibly narrow it down! My family and friends are everything to me and my relationships that I’ve built with y’all here are so special to me. I am thankful for my marriage, mine and my family’s health, my home, my ability to do what I love, my fur babies, and SO much more. The little things on a daily basis like hot coffee, devotions, snuggles, a warm bed, a stocked fridge, a car, smiles, sharing kindness, helping others: they are all what make me feel blessed beyond measure. Even the daily minutiae of taking care of a home, school pickup, sports, activities, cleaning, laundry- I’m thankful for it all and wouldn’t trade it for anything! I hope y’all are preparing your hearts for Thanksgiving and finding much to be thankful for! Please know that I am SO thankful for each and every one of you and that you show up for me here!!! You are so loved!!♥️🫶🏼♥️🫶🏼

My story of gratitude for this beautiful November evening is a story of thankfulness for my yellow lab Hunter! As Many of you know, my partner Nick died 11 years ago, (but that is not what this story is about). 2 months before Nick passed, we decided to adopt a dog! Now I have always been one to root for the "underdog" so yo speak, and that is just what sweet baby hunter was. He had be abused, left to roam the streets of a rough city about an hour away, he had scars on his face, was a bag of bones and was truly so scared of his own shadow. We just knew that this poor dog who had endured so much needed a loving home. So we adopted him that day brought him home, and little did I know this dog would be the one to truly rescued me. On the days when life felt unbearable with grief from losing Nick, hunter was always there, with a goofy grin on his face, a wagging tale and the sweetest of sweat demeanor. He would lick my tears, grab my hand with his paw and was and has been a true comfort throughout it all. He always knew and still to this day knows how to make me smile, how to make me giggle, he can turn any frown upside down and has become the best friend I have ever had the privilege and blessing of knowing. He is my home, my heart, my sidekick, partner in crime, there for the good times, there for the bad, he is and always been by my side, my baby. My heart dog! 🎄How do you like my crate tree? I have crates I use in different areas around my house but I decided to stack them up and make a display.

With Thanksgiving coming up I thought I’d take a minute to show my gratitude for all of you. I’m so thankful for this platform and all of the friends I have made here. It’s so nice engaging with you everyday and seeing what you are up to. I’ve met some really nice people on here. You’ve been so supportive and I truly appreciate each and every one of you. 🫶🏼

We're expanding our farm by 84 acres today!! 🌄

If I told you we never wanted a farm, would you believe me? 🚜

10 years ago, we were only looking for about 10-15 acres, but a wrong turn on Thanksgiving at midnight (for black Friday shopping), allowed us to stumble across the current 56 acres we have. We felt God with us the entire time, and knew we needed to take a leap of faith. 🙏

Fast forward 10 years later, and that 56 acres has become a Pumpkin Farm that produced 800+ pumpkins just this year. 🎃 Have I mentioned we never intended on being farmers by hobby? 🤭

We heard a little over a month ago that the adjoining property was going up for auction.
84 whopping acres - Right beside us. We prayed and learned all about "auction etiquette"...Something I never in a million years thought I'd ever experience. 😂 We decided to just GO FOR IT!!

We showed up on auction day, both confident & nervous... It came down to us and a logging company who planned to strip it & sell it off again. 🌲🪵🪓

Surprisingly, we had the WINNING bid! ✨️

We have absolutely NO idea what we will do with it, but we knew this was yet another leap of faith we were being nudged to do! 🫶
As my Dad once told me, "They aren't making any more land."

We might be completely crazy, but today we will close and become a 141 acre farm. 🤎
