I have NEVER received this many presents for my birthday in my life, and then y’all pulled up and absolutely SHOWERED me in book mail.

Nothing could have prepared me for THIS humongous stack of books that were pulled straight from my wishlist and so lovingly delivered to my shelves. Like… y’all really looked at my wishlist and said, “Yeah, Soulflower needs ALLAT.”

But as much as I love every single book, the notes are always my favorite part. I’ve kept every one of them. It is so special to open a package, see a book I’ve been wanting, and then get to read the little message someone took the time to leave with it.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who thought of me, celebrated me, spoiled me, and added a little more happiness to Soulflower’s Library.

If you sent me one of these books but you aren’t tagged, PLEASE tell me! Either the package didn’t come with a note, or your note got separated from its book somewhere in the chaos, even though I tried so damn hard to keep up with every single one. I want to make sure I know who to thank because not one of these gifts went unappreciated.

Ice cream challenge (a little late in the season but it's still hot af so 🤷‍♂️)

Dark chocolate - a book with questionable morals - for me, this is A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. I know Tamlin wasn't a good guy but the way she treats him was absolutely awful and not entirely deserved.

Vanilla sweet - a book that makes me smile - Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman

Double scoop - a series I have read more than once - none but I started to reread Joust by Mercedes Lackey once just didn't finish it. Tend not to re-read.
