Got a VERY special show lined up for you today on @nts_radio ! I'll be joined by the legendary Paul Simonon, bassist of The Clash 🤘🏽He came to the studio armed with a box of 7inches - lots of his favourite music to share with us. Paul and I talk through all his selections which range far and wide, across era, genre and continent. He even plays a Pakistani tune 🇵🇰 Represent! I took on the task of playing all Clash tunes which is fine by me because they're one of the greatest bands ever ♥️ In a weird twist of fate and the magic of living in a big mystical city like London, Paul and I somehow crossed paths and became friends. We then realised we were also neighbours! I honestly have to say that being around him, and listening to him DJ over the last few years has been one of the greatest musical educations because the way he connects to different songs and finds the meaning in them is so deep and special!!!! So all I can say is that you're in for a real aural treat today - a chance to learn about the music that means the most to Paul, plus a healthy dose of banter on the mic 😂 Tune in TODAY 2-4pm UK time on NTS Channel 1 📻#theclash

THE CLASH: LA HISTORIA DETRÁS DE “GUNS OF BRIXTON”
