How The Pioneer happened.

It started with a pair of unbranded jeans that sat in a barn in Canada for almost 100 years. @nat_the_metalsmith found them at an estate sale, they made their way to @sandro_schaffner , and when he posted his find, I asked if he’d reproduce them. In March he flew to LA, we looked over the pattern together, and landed on what became the finalized Pioneer. Every reproduction is a chain of people, and this one felt meant to be.

The Pioneer is here.

Our friend Sandro Schaffner had a pair of unbranded 1930s jeans that were found in a barn in Canada, and we set out to bring them back to life.

Classic 1930s straight fit, 12.5oz 2x1 weave denim, slanted front pockets, an exaggerated back yoke, and a made in USA cotton waistband. Every detail chosen to stay true to the original pair.

This is what The Long Haul is about. Taking classic silhouettes and making them relevant again.
