Where Fashion Meets History. 🌊✨

Long before the Wild Coast became known for its breathtaking beauty, this shoreline was already writing its story. The Mzamba Petrified Forest, estimated to be over 120 million years old, preserves the remains of ancient trees that were buried beneath layers of sand and mineral-rich sediments before transforming into stone over millions of years. Today, these fossilised remains are revealed along the coastline, offering a rare glimpse into a prehistoric world.

For this edition of the NovaSky Productions Fashion Editorial Series – The Coastal Collection, we celebrate more than fashion. We celebrate a destination where history, nature, culture, and creativity exist in harmony. Every design is inspired by the movement of the ocean, the resilience of the land, and the timeless legacy beneath our feet.

Have the wedding.

They say ‘your wedding day is the one day all the people you love will be in one room at the same time.’

I didn’t realize how much truth would be found in those words until now. A month ago, our lives changed forever & now, all we are left with are the beautiful memories we had the honor of creating with you, my Pravesh mama.

My childhood is filled with a million moments of excitement, joy & happiness at every family gathering with you. You exuded love.

I reflect on the last few years & especially the last few months as we prepared for our wedding. You were just so excited to be apart of all the preparations & fun. How did God plan it in such a way that we were all united for your birthday, the same weekend as our pre-wedding. As the clock struck 00:00, we all surrounded you as we sang happy birthday & we each scored a dance with you. I kept telling you to blow out the candles on the cake but you looked around the entire room with tears in your eyes as if you were making the best wish ever , and then you blew out the candles. We didn’t know that it would be our last celebration with you. I’d like to think God allowed us to have that with you because he knew He’d be needing you back soon.

Mama, thank you for showing us a love so warm that made each of us feel like a favorite child. Thank you for showing us what humility & kindness looks like. You’ve always been a person of few words but your love & presence was ever so strong.

I’ve never bargained with God for anything before, but for you, I tried.
I wish He gave us more time with you 🥀

Our loss is immeasurable but so is the love you’ve left behind. Life is unpredictable & you don’t know when’s the last time you get to laugh with your loved ones & enjoy the blessing of family & love - so, have the wedding. I’m so grateful we did ❤️

On the 5 month anniversary of our wedding day, I’d like to honor our beloved Pravesh mama. We will miss you forever & we will love you even more. Till we meet again my mama 🌹❤️‍🩹
