My First Trainer 🔥

People meet me and seem surprised of the perspective and the insight I carry, being that I’m “young”.

However my belief system didn’t come with age, it came with the people I met along the way.

Rewind to 2015...

That’s my guy Shamar.

We met in high school when we were in the same jazz band.

This was the first person to talk me through purpose in life.

He shared that despite having cerebral palsy, that his purpose is to create and inspire 🙏

He explained that he was constantly given sympathy that was unnecessary.

He was patient with others because he understood that they weren’t capable of knowing what he knew.

He was different but not for what others thought 💯

He shared plans & goals that are far too “unrealistic” for most people.

He had a dead seriousness to him..

I’m now at a point of understanding what he meant.

5 years later he has already started achieving some of those “crazy” goals.

This was one of the first times I started to question purpose and the power of choice 🔥

Deciding how “crazy” your pursuits will be.

Deciding how misunderstood you’re willing to be.

I made my choice and I’m living it daily..

6 years later, neither of us have shifted that mindset.

To this day, there is the same support & belief whenever we chat..

I knew he wasn’t kidding when he said he was going to start training in the gym.

So when he sent me videos on him consistently grinding, I really wasn’t surprised..

He’s already seen more results than a lot of people I know who “plan” on getting started.

I appreciate you bro..

For how you helped me cut through all the noise and pessimism in the world 💎

I’m blessed for the people I’ve gotten to know in life.

Make sure you are learning from the people around you…
