Do you ever feel completely exhausted by all the expectations and the pressure to do it all? Sometimes, even a simple conversation can feel like too much, especially when you are dealing with finances, appointments, household chores, or work schedules.

When that happens, it is completely natural to want to step back, disengage, tune out and find comfort in a Netflix show or scrolling through your phone. It is tempting, but let’s try not to lose sight of the people right around us. It is not easy, and we are all navigating the same heavy load. Let’s make a little space for the people we care about, too, because we need that connection just as much. #informyourperspectives #reallylistening #familylife #parenting #connection

@the_informed_perspective

If the tween years are shaping identity, wellbeing and digital habits more than ever before, what would change if we truly stopped and supported them in this in‑between stage? @the_informed_perspective

Are You REALLY Listening? | Your Grades Don’t Define You!

Our latest Are You REALLY Listening? interactive, speaker-led event comes with a twist.

Many young people are facing intense academic pressure — and when it affects them, it affects the whole family too. That’s why we’re making intentional space for this very conversation: Your Grades Don’t Define You!

We’re inviting parents, guardians, and their young people (9-14yrs) to come together and openly explore the expectations, pressures, and disengagement that so many families are navigating right now.

Together, you’ll discover:

• The value of learning through mistakes
• Why the most meaningful growth comes through challenge and difficulty
• Why learning truly never has an end point

Guided by Dr. Will Zoppellini of @coffee_and_theory , you’ll move through a series of engaging workshops designed to get you thinking, collaborating, and genuinely considering each other’s perspective.

You’ll also leave with take-home tools to help you communicate better in everyday life, long after the event is over.

Tickets available now (see bio!)

We talk a lot about communication between parents and children and how hard connection can sometimes feel.

Different generations have always found it tricky to understand one another. But in today’s distracted world, with notifications, noise, pressure and pace coming at us from every direction, it feels harder than ever…

Harder to pause.
Harder to listen.
Harder to REALLY listen.

And at the heart of it all is something beautifully simple:
Every generation just wants to be heard. ❤️🙏🏻#areyoureallylistening #informyourperspectives #connection #listening

Are we really preparing teens for real, healthy relationships in a world where most of their connection happens behind a screen? 💭 @the_informed_perspective

Are we really giving teenagers the space and connection they need, or have screens quietly taken over their worlds? @the_informed_perspective

And that’s a wrap!
A project that had been sitting in the back of our minds since we launched @the_informed_perspective a year ago has finally come to life, beginning a real, honest conversation about how we can connect more deeply in a world full of distractions.

It was a challenge, and we learnt so much along the way.
We were also blown away by the passion and authenticity of our speakers, @jeremyindika and Matt Smith from @smashlifeuk. Their stories were powerful, insightful, emotional, and so needed.

A huge thank you to all our supporters and partners for making this possible (@smithswilanow @amesthebags @fourzeros.pl @aswarsaw @slodki_slony_familia @vitacafewarszawa @melissa.hernandez.jaczewska @eleven28home @discoverwarsawtrails @villa22foodartfriends @perfectmatcha.warszawa @pracownia.synapsis @janiewaring )
Your belief in the importance of this conversation helped bring this event to life, and we’re deeply grateful.

This evening proved something we’ve felt for a long time: this conversation matters. It’s relevant to all of us, and simply pausing to reflect on how we listen and communicate can change everything.

Let’s keep this momentum going.
Let’s keep talking.
Let’s keep listening.
Let’s keep this ball rolling. ❤️
Are YOU really Listening??!

When we expect less from young adults, they start to expect less from themselves.

In this clip from The Informed Perspective Podcast, I spoke with Mel Simmons, Aya Barakat and Penny Power about how belief, feedback and resilience shape confidence.

If we want our youth to thrive, we need to show them that they’re capable of more and help them see it too.

So many young adults lose motivation not because they don’t care but because somewhere along the way, we stop asking why.

In this clip from The Informed Perspective Podcast, I sat down with Mel Simmons, Aya Barakat and Penny Power to talk about how curiosity, purpose, and belonging shape motivation and success in early careers.

Sometimes, the best thing we can do is help them reconnect to why it matters.
