Have had this 1975 Hamilton "Genève" W10 in the roatation for a bit! Courtesy of my friend @the_lost_spring_bar
While many of these were issued to the British Army, the 6BB engraving on the case back marks this one specifically for the Royal Air Force. Issued as the 299th watch of 1975, it’s a masterclass in functional design.
There’s just something about a tool watch with it's military pedigree that could've actually seen the inside of a cockpit.

1960’s 43mm Nivada Grenchen “Depth-O-Matic”. Mechanical “Capillary depth gauge”. Air is trapped in a tube, built into the plexi glass, and the water then compresses it, showing a point on the calibrated bezel…….your depth.

Seiko Prospex SSC017 chronograph, still a beast of a watch with its amazing depth to the dial with its huge lume filled indices. Had this one for a while now & its probably my favourite go-to piece as its certainly fit & ready for anything with its solar powered movement & ISO rating.

The original bracelet has polished centre links that always made it a bit flashy for a tool watch & the dreaded hollow end links…..

So I was over the moon when I found this fully brushed oyster style bracelet with solid end links from @strapcode.

Now it looks like a proper tool watch, as Prospex should 😎👌
