We welcome the 3rd band from Leicester 's brilliant "punk for women from scratch" collective @riotouscollective the first were @tinderbox_rc
And @stbrigids.rc in June... Am hoping we cool down by September, the June gig was a sweaty one😜

Come enjoy the joy and the energy of a Riotous collective band, a collective revolutionising Leicester 's punk scene since 2022 💥🎉🎉

"The Marlinas are a raw, energetic, and quirky female garage punk band hailing from Leicester as part of the Riotous Collective movement. Their songwriting bridges the gap between historical oddities and sharp contemporary commentary—spanning topics from Richard III ('The Yorkshire Swine') and 19th-century Welsh uprisings ('The Rebecca Riots') to the unabashed honesty of 'This Is a Love Song' (featuring the memorable chorus declaration, "We’re definitely not shagging in the shed!"). Driven by Kala’s relentless drumming, Tracy’s driving bass lines, and Kara’s soaring vocals and guitar, The Marlinas deliver rhythmic, high-octane melodies with a bold feminist edge."

Tix will be available soon! QWIM September Banger, is a fundraiser for AKT and NotAPhase 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🥳
