On “The Cafe” coming 2027 ☕️

Two spontaneous moments captured by cast/crew of the many, many conversations producers and director have before anyone yells “Action!” 😂

I loved working on this film. ❤️

And today Roberto is back on set filming Season 3 of Running Point. Check him out on Seasons 1 & 2 on Netflix 🏀 Since we shot this film in CA & Roberto is on Running Point I stumbled upon the song for this post which is California Dreamin’ sung by @katehudson 🎬

On-set moments from The Café, the film I had the privilege of producing. 🎬☕️🎞️

Sweatpants, utility jackets, my pink producer binder, and a clipboard that doubled as a table became my survival kit. It let me carry everything I needed as I bounced from one part of the production to another.

What made this experience so special, though, was the people.

We had the BEST crew. Every single person was invested in bringing this story to life, and it showed. And our cast… simply FABULOUS. Their performances made me laugh, cry, and genuinely feel. I wasn’t even in the scenes with them, yet I found myself emotionally affected by what they created. So much heart went into this production.

A huge thank you to @official_roberto_sanchez for writing, directing, and starring in The Café, and for inviting me to come on board as Producer. You’re a joy to work with, and I’m so excited to see your continued success. Congratulations as well on being part of shows that are up for Emmy recognition!

And lastly… a special shout-out to Tom the cat 🐈, who adopted me at base camp. He kept me company whenever I’d step outside to meditate, take a breather, and enjoy the view. (Swipe to the end of the carousel for Tom’s cameo. ❤️)

Independent filmmaking is exhausting, exciting, challenging, beautiful… and always worth it. You graduate from each production knowing more and allowing you to be multi-hyphenate on any set. 🎥⚡️🎬✨🎞️

One of the best parts of producing is getting to work alongside good people.
