❔What are your autumn rituals? And what’s one book or movie you HAVE to revisit this time of year?

Hello, my little autumn creatures!

We are officially in the best part of the year, and I thought it would be fun to share a little collection of things I am reading, watching, and doing to make the most of my favorite season.

We’ve got six books I want to read, six movies I want to watch, and six very effective ways to summon me out of the woods.

Honestly, if you put a cappuccino next to a particularly interesting mushroom, there is a very good chance I will appear.

Also, can we talk about how quickly October is disappearing?! I have SO MANY things I still want to read and watch but luckily my autumn rituals apply to November!

✨📚 BOOKS EVERYONE SHOULD READ AT LEAST ONCE!

Now, I know reading is subjective, and what’s a masterpiece to one person might be a DNF for another. But if I could convince everyone to give these five books a chance, I absolutely would!

📖 The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
📖 Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb
📖 East of Eden by John Steinbeck
📖 Pachinko by Min Jin Lee
📖 Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry

These books couldn’t be more different, but they all have a special place in my heart. Whether it’s their unforgettable characters, beautiful storytelling, or the way they explore the human experience, each one has left a lasting impression on me. Some broke my heart, some made me reflect on life, and others reminded me why I fell in love with reading in the first place.

My friends and I went to see @johngreenwritesbooks speak this week and I forced them into this fun little trend! Different current reads, different book marks, different headphones, different bags but three girlies that love books!

I love seeing authors speak and John was truly such a joy. I ended up crying at the end of his talk which is fitting since Hollywood ending also made me cry!
