🗓️ Thursday 3rd September 2026 🗓️

It was wonderful to be invited to photograph the warm up show for Last Train Home festival 2026 with LTH Express on the Thursday before the big event.

As ever an excited crowd gathered before doors and to greet our excitement starting the night were Yorkshire twins Millie and Joe AKA The Mist Calls.

With a blend of jazz and folk they silenced the audience in awe and then the most magical moment happened. As they sang a song about the rain it got a bit dark outside and the heavens seemed to open on queue. It fell very fast but gentle and with the doors of the venue opened wide for those of us at the back it felt like the most calming few minutes ever. Very apt to their namesake as I always feel a sense of calm when mist gathers.

This really was one of the most perfect moments and I thank Team Tracks of Sarah, Rob and Fran for having me be part of the team for another year🫶🏼
