2025 owes me nothing. A little tea about me this year: my personal character arc centered around, “what happens when the girl who is used to surviving gets to put down her weapons?” I feel like this is a common thread with mothers and other caretakers. Survivor mode has to actively be shut down and it takes TIME, and for me even a little solitude. When I tell you, cortisol levels have gone down and edges have grown back? My God. 🤭 Professionally, I am grateful that I’ve been able to work with brands that really align and want to invest in storytelling and connect with their audiences over creating content. I got in my BAG with filming this year. (Color grading is one of my favorite aspects of filming and I’ve learned and applied so much this year and will continue!) And I am so excited to film even more. For all of those who trusted me with your brand story and vision, Thank YOU so so much! I don’t take it for granted. And of course my person, my love, homie has been there every step of the way: supporting, guiding, protecting and even shooting! 😝😝😝 @cemthree Cheers to another year worth living and experiencing. 🥂

“Caring for horses has transformed the way I perceive the world by teaching me to engage with it more intuitively and attentively. Horses exist in a state of pure presence, and working with them has made me far more aware of the subtle, unspoken language that shapes all relationships. Their sensitivity to intention has deepened my appreciation for the power of calm, grounded energy and the quiet authority of patience. Through them, I’ve come to understand that trust is not demanded but earned through consistency, gentleness, and respect. In many ways, horses have become a lens through which I see the world with greater empathy, nuance, and reverence for the interconnectedness of all living beings.” — Omar Ramo Thank you for sharing your story. 🤍

1486: Early Pandemic project. Goal was to bring a little creative, cheeky, humanistic order into the chaos through light-hearted editorial. ‘Social distancing’ front porch pics and words from locals/neighbors in Orlando, smiling, and keeping their chin up…making the best of a globally life-changing historical event nobody was prepared for. Many sadly affected more than others but there was a sense of unity and safety knowing nobody was alone. Majority siding with empathy as our connector. Almost as if it were the assignment, instinctively. Many polite nods from afar…from strangers. A rare time. Never thought I’d wish for another pandemic, fixed as a peacemaker to try to quell or simmer the modern day nightmare/virus that is. ✌🏻🖤❤️ A simple observation. 2020 -✊🏼 to @orlandoweekly for the avenue to let me purge. 📷 #humans #bebetter
