As it’s Friday we gotta celebrate it the #casebackfridays way with possibly the sexiest back of the whole Watches and Wonders fair belonging to the A. Lange & Söhne Minute Repeater Perpetual, limited to 50 pieces that is just pure art on the front and back, both on a aesthetics level and on the advanced horological expertise.

Housed in a 40.5mm x 12.1mm platinum case, the watch features a 18k gold dial with black enamel and is powered by mighty L122.2 manual caliber with the finest finishing and 72 hours of power reserve.

A. Lange & Söhne expands the 1815 UP/DOWN collection, introducing a new 37.5 mm case size available in pink gold and white gold. Both iterations feature a deep blue solid-silver dial, perfectly framing the signature UP/DOWN power-reserve indicator and running seconds sub-dials.

Inside beats the hand-wound calibre L051.2, finished to the highest standards of fine watchmaking.

A. Lange & Söhne brings back the extraordinary Triple Split, now combining a platinum case with a rhodium-coloured silver dial and contrasting grey subdials. The watch measures 43.2 mm × 15.6 mm and is limited to 100 pieces.

Its defining feature remains the triple rattrapante chronograph, capable of measuring intermediate and comparative times not only in seconds, but also minutes and hours — for intervals of up to 12 hours. The chronograph also features a flyback function and the signature Lange Up/Down power-reserve indicator.

Inside is the hand-wound Calibre L132.1, composed of 567 parts and offering a 55-hour power reserve. The movement is extensively hand-finished and visible through the sapphire caseback.

A. Lange & Söhne przywraca niezwykły Triple Split, tym razem łącząc kopertę z platyny 950 z rodowaną, srebrną tarczą i kontrastującymi szarymi subtarczami. Zegarek ma 43,2 mm średnicy i 15,6 mm grubości, a jego produkcja zostanie ograniczona do 100 egzemplarzy.

Najważniejszym elementem pozostaje potrójny chronograf rattrapante, pozwalający mierzyć międzyczasy i porównywać czasy nie tylko w sekundach, ale również minutach i godzinach – dla przedziałów sięgających aż 12 godzin. Chronograf oferuje również funkcję flyback, a na tarczy znalazł się charakterystyczny dla Lange wskaźnik rezerwy chodu Up/Down.

W środku pracuje ręcznie nakręcany kaliber L132.1, złożony z aż 567 części i zapewniający 55 godzin rezerwy chodu.

Several moons ago, I visited the then-official @alangesoehne retailer in Copenhagen. Had I not mentioned the location, the legendary Egg chair by Arne Jacobsen might have given away the whereabouts of these captures. Anyway, the model in the pictures is the wonderful Langematik Perpetual Calendar in platinum, winning the wrist with its elegant 38.5 mm diameter.

The illustrious Lange 1, just waiting to be officially announced as an icon alongside the likes of the Royal Oak, Nautilus and Laureato. And yes, I do consider the Lange 1 to be as important as those three. Not as old, I know. But just as important. Do you agree?

Let’s revisit one of the most stunning watches of 2024 and the time when A. Lange & Söhne celebrated 25th anniversary of the mighty Datograph with this special edition in white gold.

Limited to 125 pieces, this flyback chronograph watch has 41mm x 13.1mm white gold case with blue dial and classic Lange design language including two-digit ‘grand’ date.

Inside we got the L951.6 hand-wound calibre originally released in 2012, consisting of 451 components with beautiful hand-finish and 60 hours of power reserve.

Wróćmy do jednego z najbardziej spektakularnych czasomierzy roku 2024 i chwili, gdy A. Lange & Söhne świętowało 25-lecie legendarnego modelu Datograph, prezentując tę specjalną edycję w białym złocie.

Limitowany do 125 egzemplarzy, chronograf typu ‘flyback’ posiada kopertę z białego złota o wymiarach 41 mm x 13,1 mm, niebieską tarczę oraz klasyczne cechy stylistyczne marki Lange, w tym charakterystyczne dwucyfrowe okno ‘grand’ daty.
