It was more than just about the great music. It was about everyone who showed up around it.

It was the walk through the forest.
The conversations between sets.
The jams around the bonfires..
The quiet. The chaos. The wilderness.
And that feeling of being one with nature.

For everyone who was there — *this one takes us back.*

For everyone who wasn’t — here’s a glimpse of what we found.

STARQUAKE SONATA live @ The Metric Shift Festival
-
Huge thanks to @gaurabchatterjee1982 for inviting me to play at the festival. Thanks also to all the sponsors for believing in this event. Events that celebrate progressive and fusion are ultra ultra rare so having one like this is HEAVILY appreciated! 🫶
Huge ups to @the_pulse_theory and @the_bodhisattwa_trio for their exceptional sets! ✨ What a time!

Part 2 of the "development" section of Starquake Sonata (aka the part that kicks my ass) ✍️
Fun fact: Starquake Sonata is structurally a Sonata form piece in the canon of western classical music. Sonically it may be homage to old Capcom soundtracks like the megaman and the street-fighter games, it is a three part Sonata in a very very clear way. 👾

Also, i debuted my new @valeton_music GP-50 at this gig and it sounded really good! Very happy with it so far!

What a night! ❤️
A huge thank you to Rivu, The Pulse Theory and The Bodhisattwa Trio for belting out such incredible performances and making The Metric Shift Music Festival so special.
Big up to everyone who came down to Princeton Club last night and shared the evening with us. Your energy is what makes these concerts worthwhile. ❤️
A massive thank you to our Title Sponsors and Co-Curators, Globsyn Business School, for continuing to believe in and support this journey. And a special thank you to Rahul Dasgupta.
Much love and gratitude to our Associate Sponsors and Partners — Fret Practice, Prog Encounters, Boring, ODDSPACE, B.O.L.C, Times Musical and Amontran Caterers.
Thank you Kranti and the gang for taking such great care of the sound and lights.
Thank you Shreyansh for the visuals.
Thank you Angshu for jumping in and helping us sort out an unexpected technical glitch last night.
Thank you Tina for always being there and supporting these concerts.
And thank you Princeton Club for having us.
This was my 7th Indie Music Festival in the last one and a half years, and the second festival from my concert series, The Bangla Collective, in collaboration with Globsyn Business School.
And yes, we're going to keep doing this. 🎶
I’ll continue to put these concerts together, bring different sounds and musicians onto the stage, and hopefully create spaces where artists and audiences can simply come together and have a great time.
Here’s to many more. ❤️
The journey continues.
