The Moment I Realised I Had Been Managing Social Media Wrong My Whole Life 😭😭😭 I've been managing other people's social media professionally for a while now. Week 2 humbled me by pointing out I wasn't doing the same thing for myself. Here's the irony I didn't expect to confront this soon into training: I build content calendars, strategies, and posting plans for clients. But my own personal Instagram? I've been posting whenever inspiration hit, with no real plan behind it. I told myself the algorithm was the problem. Slow growth, inconsistent reach, the usual excuses. Week 2 made me actually sit with a harder truth. It wasn't the algorithm. It was the absence of a system. No defined content pillars for my own page. No calendar. No clear answer to "what is this account actually for, and who is it for." I was applying strategist-level thinking to every client's account except my own. This week, I finally built a real content calendar for myself, not just for a client. Laid it out properly, pillars mapped, posting days assigned, actual intention behind each slot. Something shifted when I saw it organized like that. It wasn't about posting more often. It was about finally treating my own brand with the same discipline I give everyone else's. I've been doing this professionally, and I still needed this lesson. That tells me how easy it is to know something and still not apply it to yourself. I'm applying it now. That's what matters. Take yourself seriously too. Have you ever managed something well for others while neglecting it for yourself? What was it? #socialmediatruths #smmstudent #skilltoincomeacademy #fypシ❤️💞❤️ #relatable
