✨“Surf House” 2026✨ This one was fun for me to do as I had the pleasure of visiting the Surf house in Levanto, Italy hosted by the incredible @erikal and @morganb180 It was such a dreamy seaside town with the most welcoming people. Acrylic on canvas, multiple proseccos and a hand built frame. ⛱️Jen #acrylicpainting #acrylic #artist #artcommunity

The Welcome Party sets the tone. At Ingleside Estate, that meant retro Palm Springs energy - citrus cocktails, wraparound bar with custom floral linen by Reverie, playful florals with lemons and tomatoes, and tiny details to discover as they sip (hello lounge chair stir sticks). . . . Across The Pacific, recipe seen on @stevethebartender credited to Meaghan Dorman Amaro and rum is a flavourful combination. And this drink does not disappoint. The nutmeg aroma is always warming while hinting at a complex sipper to be uncovered. Rich funky overripe tropical fruits 🥭 🍌 🍍 🥥, bitter orange 🍊 with a lime 🍋‍🟩 emphasis, mint, star anise, marzipan with a long bittersweet rum and coke finish. 😋 The suggested rums are Appleton 12 paired with Smith & Cross. My pick, especially the Hamilton Zombie blend may be unconventional but they worked perfectly. Exploring rum is well worth the trip. Across The Pacific 1 oz (30ml) Blended Aged Rum (@planterayrum ) ½ oz (15ml) Overproof Jamaican Rum (@ministryofrum ) ½ oz (15ml) Averna Amaro (@averna_italia ) ¾ oz (22.5ml) Fresh Lime Juice ¾ oz (22.5ml) Orgeat (@prosyrosyrups ) Nutmeg #rum #tikicocktails #igdrinks

The Cocoanut Grove, seen in @bartalkandcocktails YouTube channel from the Beach Bum Berry book 📖 Remixed. As I was gathering the ingredients for this I was thinking this is a coconut 🥥 Mai Tai. Rum ✅ lime 🍋‍🟩 juice ✅ orange curaçao ✅ and the orgeat is replaced with coconut 🥥 syrup. The ratios are a little different but not miles apart. Indeed the first sip really tasted like a Mai Tai. Slightly more bright lime 🍋‍🟩 in the profile but definitely orangy 🍊 , nutty via coconut 🥥, dark brown sugar, tropical fruits 🥭 🍍 I’ll definitely make this again when a mai tai mood strikes. Will go with darker rums to experiment maybe tweak the lime and curacao slightly. Keen eyes will see I used Companero instead of Curaçao. I figure where a little rum is good more rum is better. Companero is rum based instead of cognac base. Delicious fruity brown sugar profile with deep baked orange notes. The Cocoanut Grove 2 oz (60ml) Light Rum (@tikiloversrum ) ½ oz (15ml) Orange Curaçao (sub @roncompanero_official ) 1 oz (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice ½ oz (15ml) Coconut Syrup (@fabbricanada ) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #maitai #rum #rumcocktail #tiki #tikicocktails #cocktailrecipe #cocktail #homebartender #glassstraw #tropicaldrink #rumcocktails🍹 #rumdrinks #glassstraw
