Ayyyye DC! Things really can flip in a blink of an eye. Accidents on the road lead to serious outcomes. But love and music both have a way of changing things just as fast. Let’s bring flowers to the brother @yutakinpictures while he can smell them, and financially pool what we can for this father, son, musician and more. Imagine not being able to work or receive due benefits in the time of need and it being no fault of your own. Multiple surgeries, unreturned calls, income slowing down. I’m willing some justice and peace from this situation. I appreciate all the artists above and the folks I’m sure will be there! 🤲🏾🖤🙏🏾 #yUNITY

Happy birthday @daaaytrippper | Blessed 💜Jas💜 Day for those who observe…

My brother, I post this video because so many layers of beautiful and heart-wrenching symbolism for those who know and love you…yall. The vortex at the center of this visual feels a lot like what the last year has been for us. We are all different now, since your birthday last year. I think we are stronger and better for it, but ofc time will tell. But we are definitely changed. You should know your birthday holds Big Portal energy for all of us now. Your life has become a testament to love and real human vulnerability (not bs internet vulnerability, thats different). Thank you, you deserve all the high vibes your bday can deliver my g.

You been breakin bread w God….

I got a story to tell.
& oh, What a Story it is…
As of recently I’ve realized that many of you know me as a DJ…only.
Some …strictly a producer,
a few of you… know me exclusively an emcee &/or educator. While I’ve never stopped doing any of these “jobs”,
I acknowledge that I must be more intentional about showing/saying what I’m up to, & apparently where I am.
Context is Key.🔐

A little bit of VT #HipHopHistory for you…did you know @littlebrother_nc ‘s first show outside of NC took place in Squires? #VTDITC program director @cooldjcsharp worked alongside a bunch of other heads (shouts out to @pbstill !) to bring them back a few months later. At the follow up show, (the very old) Kanye was originally going to open for @phontigallo , @rapperbigpooh , & @9thwonder . But then Slow Jamz dropped and everything changed…
