Another Beautiful Year Of Life
•
It feels like I celebrated my eighteenth birthday not very long ago. I figured back then that I would have my whole life mapped out by the time I hit 28-years-old. I thought that was plenty of time to accomplish everything that I have been dreaming of.
•
I may not have everything that I want in terms of dreams, but that doesn’t mean I’m not still working towards them. I now know that it takes longer to reach our goals and that we have to be patient sometimes. It may have seemed an easy goal when we were younger, but we often end up just making things up as we go along. We have to take it day by day, and we often simply hope for the best outcome possible.
•
I’ve learned that just because things haven’t worked out as I had planned right now that there is still a bigger plan in the works for your future. You have to follow your heart and dreams to be successful in life, but you don’t have to panic when it doesn’t happen for you right away. Patience is a virtue in life.
•
Material possessions do not define who we really are. Yes, they are nice to have, but what is in our hearts is what truly matters. I’m learning that there is another type of success in life, and that is what we are on the inside. True beauty comes from within, as does true happiness. Material possessions may make us feel good at first, but we won’t be truly happy until our soul finds happiness and peace.

I’m ready to face the years come with joy and happiness. I plan to learn as many lessons as I can as I grow older. I am very thankful for every year that I am given. Another year means another opportunity to experience all that life has to offer. I have plans to live the best life that I can, always. I will make sure that I have a purpose in life that means something.
•
I am celebrating this year fully. I am so fortunate to have many blessings in my life. I can look back and celebrate every single good thing that has happened to me so far. I will celebrate that I have grown and matured. It’s my birthday, and I am celebrating another year of life. That’s all that matters.

Live Your Dream Life
•
Everyone, at some point in his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, doing something big, making a difference, having a great life, great relationships or a great business. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn’t dreamed of having the perfect wedding? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?
•
Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that, dreams. And our aspirations quickly collect dust in our attic.
•
This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self-actualization, we get caught up in the minutia of living from day-to-day just barely existing. But you know what? Life could be so much better if only we were ferocious in pursuit of our dreams.
•
The most common problem with making your dreams a reality is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can’t do this. It’s too hard. It’s impossible. No one can do this. I am not good enough. I am not qualified. I don’t have the money or resources and we could good on and on about why is it impossible to bring our dreams to fruition.
•
Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumblebee no one has told it so. So fly it does.
•
So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

I’m Grateful •
In a world of plenty where most of us are pre-programmed to strive for more, desire what we don’t have, and lust after what’s faster, better, and stronger, we forget to appreciate what we have.
•
It made me think: what would happen if we could all learn to live with less? What if we could accept the gifts life has to bestow upon us and let what we have be enough? What if we took measures to simply count our blessings everyday? Would we (could we) be happier or more content?
•

I don’t have the answer to that question.
•
What I go know is that I have taken measures to simplify my own life and I couldn’t be happier. I stop to smell the roses or enjoy a nice sunset and I couldn’t be happier. Take my time when I’m with people I care about. I put down my phone, cut off the T.V. and I couldn’t be happier. I work on cultivating my dreams without become obsessed or depressed and I couldn’t be happier.
•
I’ve been on a personal gratitude challenge since December and I have to say, “I couldn’t be happier.”
•
Take time out of your day to be thankful and grateful and watch your life turn around.

Some days you get all your business done, exercise, make dinner, get some good reading in, and then other days you just binge watch Two and a Half Men or How I Met Your Mother. Okay, maybe that's just me. But seriously guys, life is all about balance. We are not perfect, and eating perfectly or dressing perfectly is not perfect at all because... life is all about balance! You have to take the good with the bad, the productive with the lazy, the days where the universe totally has your back and the days where the universe must be pissed as hell at you. Such is life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Hope you have some good balance this weekend. •
Happy Weekend!
