Our screening 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒎 was a major hit with Dutch audiences and a great way to reach and connect with our public in both a formal and informal Theater setting whereby the audience could ask the artists any questions about the creative process - especially about how a dancer can make the transition to working with and behind a camera to enhance one’s abilities for cross collaboration and sharing work with diverse audiences! Soon I’ll be in the USA to connect with my @npafe family and their @theaalchemy initiative! Make sure to check out their instagram and follow to find out how you can get supported too.

I will also be joining an artists residency @filmsthatmove to further develop dance films #dancers #tanz #choreography #film #dancefilm #arts #creatives #npafe #nonprofit #communities #arts #gobeyond #washington #amsterdam

We filled the house 🔥🔥🔥What an incredible evening @pleintheater celebrating diverse and leading female dance film artists @nicolaheppdanceandfilm @martalilli @clairedecaluwe @alicianais @yvonnesmink in a special programme curated by @in_dance_co followed by a great Q&A led by @buzlanda where we discussed the challenges of filling different roles in pre-production and post-production, the journey of transitioning from stage performer to film creator and the challenges of working with low budgets or limited resources. We also discussed the importance and beauty in collaboration, taking risks and sharing our creativity with the world 💪✨ thank you to all the featured artists, our public and supporters including @npafe @theaalchemy 🎥 reel by @tink___a

@welcome.to.campfire will present a reimagined version of their 2020 danceplay “The Pigeon & The Mouse” at @thespacetheatre September 9 - 11!

Two lovers, ‘“Pigeon” and “Mouse”, shelter together in an abandoned church when nuclear fallout from a civil war forces their city into quarantine. “Cooped up like kids on a rainy day, we made time, made believe, and made love more than our regular lives would have ever allowed,” Mouse writes, before an evacuation order forces them to confront the reality of leaving home, and, potentially, each other. Tony and Ingrid invite their audience to join in the practice of what homo sapiens do best: use fiction and fantasy as a means to survive.
