Another photo that a member of @theacademyofthewolf kindly posed for me at the Robin Hood Festival at Sherwood Forest ☺️

I feel like I’m slowly getting the hang of portraits, I just need to work on my confidence in asking more people 😬 Any tips on this would be appreciated!

I finally got round to shooting some more film after a long impromptu hiatus, and had another little delve into portraiture.

A couple of weeks ago I visited the Robin Hood Festival at Sherwood Forest to see my friend performing as part of the @theacademyofthewolf Witcher Camp. It was a very fun day out and was a great opportunity to take some portraits.

Unfortunately due to the film choice, lighting and working with a low f-stop, only a couple were nicely focused 🤦🏼‍♀️ But it’s a learning curve and I had fun while shooting!

As always, I took zero photos, but here are the ones we have so far!
A weekend with @theacademyofthewolf is always a brilliant time, but this year's Fantasy in the Greenwood had extra pizzazz with @centrearthurien visiting! One of the high points was definitely the evening of folk music and dancing, but the whole weekend was superb. And our chaotic BG3 group finally managed a photo together!

Until next time (and until photos get shared)!

Wow! what beautiful weekend we’ve had at the 40th anniversary of the Robin Hood festival at Sherwood Forest! [Fantasy in the Greenwood]

It was our first time at the festival, and we left feeling thoroughly welcomed into its wonderfully rag-tag family of outlaws, bandits and troublemakers.

A huge thank you to the brilliant RSPB team for looking after us so well, and to all the audiences, musicians and performers we met along the way. We spent our weekend playing, dancing, chatting, collaborating and making new friends. We've had a hoot! Very much hope to see you again soon!

🐝✨ This Honey Bee is home from Fantasy in the Greenwood, finally showered and mostly free of dust, dirt and stamp ink! 🌿

I’m not going to tag every individual. I know I’ve thanked you in person, multiple times, but to everyone who helped make sure I could not only be there, but experience a little extra magic this year, thank you. I’ll be forever grateful. 💛

And a huge thank you to @galacticknightscostuming Orcs, @whitbykrampusrun & @theacademyofthewolf for the songs, swords, silliness and most importantly, sanctuary.

Despite the dust devils trying to turn us all into woodland statues, this was officially my favourite weekend in the Greenwood yet.
🔥🎪🍯 Artificial campfires, circus skills, far too much @storymaker_mead and the people who continue to show up and prove what really matters.
You’ll forever be some of this Fae’s favourite people.

Now excuse me while I remove approximately 4kg of Sherwood dust and grass from my belongings.

Today we travel to Sherwood @visitsherwoodbudby to see some of our olde friends. Might bump into some olde foes. And to say hello and farewell to some very olde trees.
Celebrating with Visit Sherwood Forest the 40th anniversary (not so olde) the Robin Hood festival Fantasy in the Greenwood weekend. Come and find us before we find you.

Another @fanforfest completed, which is now a major highlight of my annual calender. I had an amazing time as usual, and was grateful for everyone who came up to chat and compliment my Geralt of Rivia cosplays.

Big shout to @theacademyofthewolf for allowing me to hang out with them in the shade over the weekend, it helped prevent me going from the White Wolf to the Red Wolf. I did have to say "sorry, but I don't work here" a fair few times though haha.

Roll on Libertalia!!!
