POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In Another Life premieres this fall and I truly cannot wait to share this love story with you.

I play LAURA, and to say she taught me a lot is the understatement of the year. She came to me at exactly the right time and gave me the chance to share my heart, my power, my playfulness — and to believe again in love and the transformative power of second chances.

Do you believe in second chances?

This team and my leading man were a blessing I am so grateful for 🤍

#yourmothermovie is utterly spellbinding. Wholly original. Wildly entertaining. Action packed and deeply deeply moving. I'm still thinking about it two days later. The best movie I've seen in years. Can't wait to watch it again.

Silver Linings Playbook (2012) was written and directed by David O. Russell. It's based on Matthew Quick's 2008 novel The Silver Linings Playbook.

The film follows two adults who become close while preparing for a dance competition all while coming to terms with their grief, loss and mental illnesses. It's a complicated story that's dark and funny, sometimes at the same time.

P.S. that's a Blood Brothers Brewing shirt, they make a great beer

The Devil's Advocate (1997) was written by Jonathan Lemkin and Tony Gilroy. It's based on the 1990 novel of the same name written by Andrew Neiderman.
It's about a lawyer who's recruited to work at a big New York law firm only to discover that his new boss is actually the Devil.

It's been a couple faith oriented monologues in a row! Works like this have strong themes and can be very interesting to explore. I remember seeing this when I was in school and hyper focusing on the blasphemous and scary language. The themes of greed and conscience, right and wrong aren't always displayed so dramatically and you can find them in a lot of places in your everyday life. That being said it's more fun seeing it on screen when the stakes are temporary.

Thank you to @samoragloria for the recommendation.

Have a great week everyone!

Meet Joe Black (1998) was written by Bo Goldman, Kevin Wade, Ron Osborn, and Jeff Reno, and is loosely based on the 1934 film Death Takes a Holiday, which is itself based on the 1929 play Death Takes a Holiday by Walter Ferris, which is in turn an English-language adaptation of the 1924 Italian play La morte in vacanza by Alberto Casella.

*Takes a deep breath*
