Photos by Max from the genderisnoise gig at the exchange.
This was such an amazing gig - the energy, the grace, the raw power and performance of all the other artists was intensely aspirational, and something I’ll remember for a really long time.
It was also my first time using the DG-20 live on stage. It’s just a noise machine so far, but we’ll work up to more complicated things over time - just you wait.

thank you to my friends for a great birthday (in January) and attending the first ever screening of the iconic and greatest movie of all time DEBS, at @20thcenturyflicks on Christmas steps here in Bristol 🙌
thanks to Marion at 20th century flicks for being the best host ever 😁
🎞️😊 these are my film photos from the day!
shout out to when Holland Taylor, actor from the film, liked my tweet many years ago quoting her line: "this is not the girl scouts, this is espionage" 🙌😊 (i cannot find the screenshot right now)

My first masked set at @cafekino the Friday before Christmas ✨ This was my first booked, non-open mic set, and my longest yet at half an hour, featuring never-heard-before arrangements of several tracks, and a bunch of new ones, including previews from an upcoming album 😊😊😊😊

Features 2x gameboys running #lsdj + a novation Launchpad pro controlling #flstudio

Costume is handmade/modified cloak + top, decorated with electroluminescent panels (like in TRON) ⚡️

Mask is a custom 3D print on top of a DIY #kigurumi base. This first opportunity to perform with it came as kind of a surprise, but I figured I’d take it. My Hadatai is still weeks away from arriving, the wig isn’t even styled, you can see the mask over the kigu head flapping about due to some last minute costume mishaps immediately before going onstage.

I’m so excited to build the world of Eyre, and introduce this character across real and digital domains this year. This set was kind of a test, but I’m excited to return to events in Bristol with more polish, immersion and character in the coming months. I’m grateful to the online kigurumi community whose resources I’ve stalked for several months while developing the skills to build these masks and join this unique performance.

Tuesday 23rd December 2025
@exchangebristol Main Stage

The only other band that I got footage of on that night was of Amyl and the Sniffers getting covered by my friends in @nervousrexdiy and @rattus.rrrat !!! They were amazing and so much fun

Myself and @mono.brooke_ played as Ween @deadpunkpromo ‘s Punk Rock Stars In Their Eyes and we had the very best time doing it!!! Was an absolute dream to be able to cover Ween as their music means so much to both of us. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see us, you were a wonderful audience for our horrible music, love and appreciate you all!!! 🖤🤘

I dedicate our set to @carefulzyn who was there in spirit!!!

Thanks so much to Deadpunk and Exchange for putting us on and giving us a chance to play, it will be forever appreciated
