A very Merry Christmas to all of you.
Especially those I have become friends with thanks to #ryanadams. Who would have thought I'd make such lovely friends here, a place where I keep to myself for the most part and share fun images I find. But the #dra fanbase/community is a beautiful, accepting one...and I see who the real true fans are, we get it. You're wonderful and I hope your holiday is magnificent. I found out this morning I am getting a heartbreaker box set!! I also got the yellow vinyl easy tiger. Somebody loves me ;)

It would only let me tag 20 on the pic! @moonbeam_unicorn @stratcat25 @itstyrchasinstagram

💞👄💞 HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!! Sorry I've been gone for a week...it was a bit overwhelming with life stuff, but everything is settled down now! Valentine's Day is one of my most favorite holidays, and as a person who loves sending cards to people, it's a great excuse to show everyone how much you care! I deeply care about our community of Betsey love and appreciation! 💞👄💞 Betsey has used the heart motif throughout her design career, and I wanted to highlight some from the past 40 years!!! @theaftermathone was kind to let me repost one of her memories of getting the Heart Crinoline at a NYC sample sale! You can see it in the background of the Alyssa Milano picture! Not only is it an amazing memory, but I love how she photographed the piece!!! 💞👄💞 Look how sweet Alyssa Milano looks hanging out at the Melrose Ave. boutique in 1988 in a strapless bustier dress with hearts on Tulle ruffles! It's the Glamour Shots picture that really does me in! The Black body con dress with ruffle derriere detail is most likely from the same collection too! The dress Alyssa wore was previously available from Astroka92 on PM, but currently is not for sale. 💞👄💞 The Thorn Heart Tattoo print from tattoo artist Franky is a CLASSIC 90s Betsey design, and came in multiple colors and fabrics. This print is one of the more available vintage Betsey items on the Internet, but it doesn't make it any less covetable! I personally love it in velvet panne!!! 💞👄💞 Finally, I end this appreciation post with her latest heart renditions which include a cupcake party dress and the Urban Outfitters collaboration! 💞👄💞 I hope everyone is feeling loved and appreciated today. Cupid's Arrow is for everyone and ALWAYS for our own self-love. 💞👄💞 #betseyjohnson #betseyjohnsondesigns #betseyjohnsoncollab #betseyjohnsonhistory #betseyjohnsonpunklabel #betseyjohnsonpinklady #betseyjohnsonfabric #betseyjohnsondress #betseyjohnsonboutique #betseyjohnsonaesthetic #betseyjohnsonvintage #vintagebetseyjohnson #90sbetseyjohnson #80sBetseyJohnson #y2kBetseyJohnson

💜💙💚💖🖤 Betsey Crushed Velvet Circa 1989!!!! A few posts back I shared a newspaper article celebrating the crushed velvet designs that Betsey did in the late 80s. While Betsey has used velvet throughout her design career there is something so special about the texture created with the crushed velvet. 💜💙💚💖🖤 I put together some of my favorite examples of the fabric starting with the TO DIE FOR purple bell bottoms. Lord knows, I'm so short I would never be able to wear these, but a gal can fantasize!!! I also LOVE the hot pink colorway and the super high-waisted shorts!!! 💜💙💚💖🖤 I FIRST found out about Betsey because of the crushed velvet in 1989 because my favorite older cousin Koka had MULTIPLE pieces from thus time and I would play dress up in her clothes! I remember thinking how regal the fabric felt and dreamed about having clothing like that! I seriously thought Koka was the coolest, smartest, and most fashionable gal ever and she is still one of my biggest inspirations! 💜💙💚💖🖤 #betseyjohnson #betseyjohnsondesigns #betseyjohnsonhistory #betseyjohnsonpunklabel #betseyjohnsonpinklady #betseyjohnsonfabric #betseyjohnsonvintage #vintagebetseyjohnson #80sBetseyJohnson
