ANOTHER PARCEL FROM DOWN UNDER?! 🇦🇺📦

When I was first introduced to the AIHL by @anthonyrussell84, I certainly didn’t expect to become as involved as I did this summer- and I certainly didn’t expect the teams to be so receptive to us U.K. fans! 🤯

It was tough figuring out where to start, but the initial video was made so easy by the Ice Dogs being one of the first sides to help out, then being the team of which I did my first player interview! 🎙️

It’s safe to say since then @daviddags and the @sydneyicedogs have been a side that I have been following all year, and it’s great to have stayed in touch throughout the season! Dave is an awesome guy and really helped me get my foot in the door, so to have these pieces for the collection means a huge deal!🙏

The Ice Dogs had an amazing year this year, and have just announced their own rink that’ll be coming for 2027, so now is the time to get over, drop them a follow and show some love!

Now... I think it’s about time we dropped that special isn’t it lads? 👀

WHY WE TRAIN FOR HOCKEY! 💪🏼😤

TO GET AWAY WITH PENALTIES AND TURN EVERYTHING INTO FEATHERS! 🪶

This video is obviously completely satirical, if you want to actually learn how to train to be faster, more explosive and more powerful for hockey, follow me at @jpfitonline and send me a DM 💪🏼💙

Welcome to all of the new crew following along on my journey from a complete newbie to the NHL 🤣

At least I get to somewhat use my musical talents with these latest videos! 🤣

(If you didn’t know, I’m a rapper, singer, songwriter and have been so for the last 11 years, you can check out my music in my bio or via all major streaming platforms, if you’re so inclined! 🤝🏼)

THIS JUST IN: The Sydney Ice Dogs announce that they will be moving their “kennel” / home rink from Macquarie Ice Rink, which they have been sharing with the Sydney Bears, to Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink upon their reopening and for the 2027 AIHL season.

Canterbury is currently undergoing renovations but is expected to reopen very soon!

Oops, you found me! 🙋🏻‍♂️🧊🏒🇦🇺

I randomly got into Ice Hockey in November 2025 after watching the “Face Off” Doco on Amazon, I had a nasty Achilles and calf rupture in 2023 which made me want to stop traditional ground sports, hence finding ice hockey!

Early 2026 I went full send and bought all my gear and started a learn to play class at my local rink in February.

I then joined the Skyhawks in Div4 and played a whole season with our team finishing second in the gold medal game and I ended up managing 20 points over the season! 😱

I’ve networked, made a tonne of new friends and am about to kick off Summer playing for two teams across
two different comps with players ranging from Div4 up to AIHL (Pro level players)…

So hopefully this summer I’ll get much much better!

I’ve ended up becoming an unofficial ambassador for the sport here in Perth (And Aus) and have been able to help a tonne of new people figure out where to start, how to get connected with the right teams and how to get into the game themselves!

Who knows where the future takes me but I’m enjoying the journey, so glad I found this sport and this community! 🥳

Make sure to follow along to see where we end up!
