Couple snaps from my photowalk in Pioneer Sqaure this past weekend for the #wwpw2026 event - we lucked out with the perfect Seattle October afternoon to hang out and snap some photos 📷

Big shoutout to everyone who came through, was amazing to see some new faces and of course shoutout to my co-host extraordinaire @dankhole 🙌🏼

Couple scenes from the new Death & Co in Pioneer Square // Welcome to the neighborhood 🍸 🥀

The original East Village location in New York is legendary and nearly single-handedly responsible for establishing what the modern cocktail bar feels like. Fun to see this one come full circle from my New York days to down the street in Seattle.

Chuckanut Drive // Where the Cascades meet Samish Bay

August really was the month of the Cascades between hitting North Cascades National Park, Mount Rainier and then ending on Chuckanut drive (SR 11) to make the journey between Bellingham and Bow, WA.

To be fair this is the easiest of the 3 as it’s the closest but we still kind of butchered the timing as didn’t leave until around 9am. It took a couple hours to drive up, we walked around Larrabee State park, decided we were starving and went over to to Taylor Shellfish and hit the lunch rush. By the time we wrapped up it was late afternoon and then you can either wait around another 4-5 hours for sunset or try and beat the traffic back to city.

Still a fun day, great drive on a curvy road, delicious oysters and a nice park - basically you’re in the San Juan’s without the ferry ride.

Whenever people come to visit Seattle I always take them on the ferry // you can eat a hot dog, drink a beer and watch the city skyline recede into the distance - it’s right up there with a baseball game for peak summertime activities around these parts.

Here’s a couple snaps from one such trip - we hopped on a late afternoon ferry to Bainbridge to go eat pizza across the Bay in Winslow // 28mm 📷

Alex had never been to Mount Rainier so we popped over a couple of weeks ago on a friday morning (and I say popped over cause the mountain may seem close by, but you’ll be stopping every 10 feet to check out the park) // Fun fact, Mount Rainer is so big at 14k+ feet that it creates its own weather and is often obscured by its own clouds. Which unfortunately happened this time but never the less, the park was still stunning, the wild flowers were in bloom and the cascades were a beautiful backdrop.

I dug up an old photo from the last time I was up here in 2019 so you can see the mountain when it’s out - it’s funny looking at old work and seeing how your edits have changed over the years

Both times I’ve been, I’ve ended up at Paradise but I think next time I’ll do the Sunrise entry - any locals have a preference?

Diablo Lake // Finally decided to tackle a bunch of Washington State locations in August and we’d never been to Diablo Lake so this was first up. A totally stunning drive up here through the North Cascades, one day I’d love to make the drive across the top here on route 20 in the fall - anyone down for a roadtrip?

May iPhone dump - crazy that this all happened on in just one month and even had to leave a bunch of stuff out - scroll through for the vibes from Indy, Seattle, Northbend, Lynwood, Lafayette and even a shot from a layover in Detroit 🏁 and if you make it to the end drop me a 2️⃣0️⃣

Tulip festival *mega post* // I cannot not post so instead of a thoughtfully curated 5 slide post with a tending audio you get 15 photos, many of them horizontal, 1 unedited video and 2 cheesy outtakes from a sunny morning out in the Skagit Valley - this is the instagram that we all want right?
