The energy was electric, and the performances were out of this world. 🌎✨
Thank you all again for a great Nationals week.
It’s such a privilege to hang out with all the dancers backstage, capture these amazing moments, and then put them together for everyone. I hope you enjoy the memories. Till next time Branson! 🫶

It breaks my heart to say goodbye to something that has been a major part of my life for so long. This art, this program, and this community has played a huge role in forming me into the person I am today. I could not be more thankful for the lessons I’ve learned, the people I’ve met, and the memories I’ve made.
Dance, I love you forever🩷

I’m so grateful I’ve never had to do it alone.. reflecting on another season and all I can think about is how much I adore this phenomenal team of mine. I’m so blessed to be surrounded by the most creative and talented minds who also manage to have the biggest hearts filled with the most compassion. Their support of me, of each other, and of all of our kids is outstanding. I can never be everything and luckily I don’t have to be with these humans at my side! If you haven’t lately, be sure tell your dance teachers how much you love them because they are probably a pretty big blessing. I know mine are and I love them a whole lot. Thank you to my APDC team for another year of love and laughter🖤

Our first Teacher Appreciation Week spotlight 🤍
This week is about the educators who don’t just teach… they shape lives.

Shouting out Lexi McGowen from The Alignment Project ✨
Thank you for showing up for your dancers, believing in them, and constantly encouraging them to reach for something bigger than themselves. That kind of impact lasts far beyond the studio.

We see you. We appreciate you. We’re better because of educators like you.

We’re still accepting submissions all week long!

Who is a teacher that has changed your life? Drop their name below or send it our way 💭

Revamping the studio last week had me reflecting back to where it all started… an old downtown building and a vision.

In the middle of my doctorate and feeling more physically and mentally drained than ever before, I don’t think I ever really paused to appreciate what was being created.

Two years later, this space feels like a reflection of growth. A little more lived in, always evolving, and constantly shaping me in return.

The Alignment Project was never just a dance studio. It was the beginning of aligning passions and chasing dreams… So here’s to celebrating the next steps of this crazy journey, while never forgetting the roots that started it all🖤
