BIG NEWS FOR THE NELSON FAMILY!!!

We are moving to Tennessee! After much prayer and God’s guidance, the LORD has called Bailey and I to The Altar Fellowship in Johnson City, TN! I accepted a position on staff at the Altar as a worship leader and Bailey has accepted a job as a Pre-Op/PACU Nurse in the area! I will also be joining The Altar Music that writes and produces music for the church! And even more, we will be in close proximity with my music producer, which means new music is on the way soon!!!! We are so thankful for the LORD’s guidance to lead us to The Altar Fellowship and to be under the leadership of Pastor Mattie Montgomery.

There are so many emotions that go into this. We are of course so excited to see what the LORD has in store in this new season of our life. But we are also very sad to be leaving an amazing community of family and friends. We have been blessed beyond measure to minister to the people of IBC and the Hannibal community for the past 5 years. We will greatly miss our people. Our gratitude for IBC and the Pastoral leadership is beyond words.

If you would like to see us before we leave, there will be a reception to celebrate Bailey and I at Immanuel Baptist Church in Hannibal on October 7th at 5:30pm. And our last Sunday at IBC will be October 11th.

Please be praying for us as we make this move. We genuinely believe the LORD is all over it and are thanking Him for His guidance! I can’t wait to share the story of our journey to the Altar someday! We love you all!

Saturday brought our students together in all the best ways — serving their new community, sharing a meal and ending the night worshipping together at Church on the Dirt with The Altar Worship Band.

Honestly… we already know the FOMO is REAL for everyone who missed this one!

Still not over last week’s bonfire + concert… and honestly, we don’t want to be 🤍🔥

There’s something so special about gathering together, lifting our voices, and keeping Christ at the center of it all. Nights like this remind us just how blessed we are by this incredible King & Bristol community that shows up, supports, and worships together.

So grateful for every moment, every song, and every person who made it amazing. A special thank you to The Neon Tetras, Line Dancing with Carla, and The Altar Music for sharing your gifts and helping create such a meaningful night!
