Celebrating NINE YEARS of being in business today 😅🎉 We could not have kept things running without the support of all of YOU and so many friends that kept us inspired and moving along.

Nine years later and I’m still plagued by imposter syndrome. I don’t think that’ll ever change but I’m grateful we’ve been able to put our goods in the hands and homes of so many wonderful people that appreciate what we do.

While I’m hard on myself for not being more successful, whatever that may mean- to have two shops and working with over 700 small business around the world would have felt like a pipe dream a few years ago.

If you want to change your path, know that you can do so at any age with next to nothing. I dropped out of an Ivy League school I couldn’t afford and started in my kitchen with $300. Making a small batch of goods, I started selling them at local markets. I found a tiny office space and took the risk to enter into a wholesale trade show. That $2,400 deposit was SO SCARY! But we got an amazing response leading me to feel like I actually had something to offer. It’s been a wild free fall since then! Opening a shop in Brooklyn, moving it to the city and opening a second shop during a pandemic! This whole time, our network of small businesses that stock our goods in their shops have carried us through the harsher times.
